INFINIX NOTE 10 PRO MOBILE REVIEW AND FULL SPECIFICATIONS
Hellooo Friends, Welcome to Our Blog. Infinix Note 10 Pro has arrived & we have to see whether it is really a “Pro”. This seriously does seem like a Pro even though we haven't opened the box yet, but it shows that it’s an 8GB with 256GB variant. There’s only one such variant with 256GB storage & it has an Ultra Smooth Display with a 90Hz Fast Refresh Rate. Generally, Infinix Note series phones come with huge screens & this one is no different.
BOX CONTENT
A nice 33W charger, USB Type C cable, documentation, sim card tool and a back case. And finally we get a Tempered Glass which we usually don’t see in other smartphone boxes.
BUILD QUALITY
Alright, 6.95” FHD+ 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display, This is a very different looking Infinix Phone, Probably the best looking Infinix Phone. We have seen similar designs but the texture on this has a matte finished & it looks really beautiful. Well done Infinix! Good design. If you hold it in your hand people will definitely notice it & that is nice.
- Weight: It is a big phone nearly 7” but still I think it will be around 200gm. Despite being huge, the weight distribution is good but it seems to be a bit on the heavier side.
- Colour Variants: Nordic Secret, 95 Degree Black & 7 Degree Purple. I don't really understand the naming, it should be simple. By the friends, the folks at Infinix say that this design has received the IF Design Award & I think yes it really looks good.
- Ports & Buttons: We get a speaker grill down below, USB Type C, microphone & a 3.5mm jack. On the left hand side, there is a sim card tray. Interestingly there is nothing on the upper side. No noise cancelling microphone. On the right side, there’s a volume rocker and a power on-off button which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.
DISPLAY
6.95” Big Display (probably one of the biggest on a smartphone) FHD+, 90HZ Fast Refresh Rate & supports HDR 10 & it definitely shows. There is 480 nits of brightness, 91% screen-to-body ratio & includes Dinorex glass protection. Quickly let me tell you it has a 180Hz touch sampling rate so the touch response is quite snappy.
SPECIFICATIONS
It comes with Helio G95 Processor, a gaming processor for mid-range phones. And it has only one variant with 8GB RAM & 256GB storage It comes with a UFS 2.2 storage type which is nice and LPDDR4x RAM.
- Battery: It has a 5000mAH battery with a 33W fast charger, and Infinix claims that 70% of its battery will charge in about 30 minutes. And yes, the charger is TUV certified, which is safe.
SOFTWARE
It comes with the XOS 7.6, which is based on Android 11 and has many bloatwares and you can see a lot of pre-installed apps and it's not all that great.
- XOS 7.6 Features: The Dar-Link Game Mode & Power Marathon Mode which increases the battery capacity by an additional 25%. So it has useful features. Another useful feature is the 360 Degree flashlight (dual LEDs at the front & quad LEDs at the back). And hence the name 360 Degree flashlight.
PERFORMANCE
It is good with a 360K+ Antutu Score. But this specific phone seems to be focused on multimedia & gamers. Yes G95 is a Gaming Optimized Processor and looking at the other specifications, the gaming performance is quite good. For eg, BGMI is playable under HD - High, COD Mobile can be played in very high settings. This big screen gives you more vision so gaming is fun and yes, it includes stereo speakers which are loud and of good quality and so as I said this device is going to be a good bet for gamers and multimedia consumers.
- Sensor: All the sensors are included. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor & face unlock and both work quite well.
- Connectivity: It is not 5G, it has dual VoLTE, WiFi calling, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band WiFi, does not have carrier aggregation & SAR values are within limits.
Infinix Note 10 Pro price = Rs. 16,999 and with offers the pricing will reduce even further. But at this price, I don’t think 256GB storage is provided by any other brand. But there's only 1 variant available (8+256Gb). If it had a 6+128Gb for 14,000 - 15,000 or 8+128Gb for 15,000 - 16,000 Rs, I would’ve loved it. But we have only one PRO variant.
CAMERA
- Rear Camera: This has a fully functioning camera i.e 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad camera & The 8MP sensor acts as both ultra wide & macro sensor.
- Front Camera: 16MP selfie sensor.
- Camera Features: Time lapse, Slow motion, Bokeh video mode are included. And in terms of video you can shoot 4K @ 30fps with front & rear. You get LEDs at the front and rear for better vision too.
OTHER FEATURES
Widevine L1, camera2api, FM Radio are included. Notification LED is not included which is present in Infinix Note 10.
OVERALL
There’s a lot to like such as design & screen. The pre-installed apps could have been ignored. And more variants would have been an advantage.
If your budget is around 17,000 Rs and multimedia & gaming is your priority then this is a good choice.
